Fantastic food, the batter mix they use is gluten free and that makes it SUPER crispy and light. The fish was moist with crispy batter and the chips were delicious. So lucky to have this on our doorstep, will definitely be going back often.

So disappointed after reading such good reviews, think my fish must’ve been on a diet before it was caught, possibly anorexic and the batter on the underside was so hard and over cooked you were at risk of breaking a tooth if you were brave enough to try and eat it. Chips and gravy were lovely though ????

We have ordered before from the Fisherman's Catch and we always find the meal is very good. The lady who delivers the meal is polite and friendly. I think its the best fish and chips in South Shields.
