So disappointed after reading such good reviews, think my fish must’ve been on a diet before it was caught, possibly anorexic and the batter on the underside was so hard and over cooked you were at risk of breaking a tooth if you were brave enough to try and eat it. Chips and gravy were lovely though ????

Absolutely amazing food as usual. Best fish and chips around. My son tried the sausage for the first time and was very happy with it. Service as ever was fantastic. I highly recommended ????

We have ordered before from the Fisherman's Catch and we always find the meal is very good. The lady who delivers the meal is polite and friendly. I think its the best fish and chips in South Shields.
